There is no definitive plot as of yet; until membership grows, this forum is open world and members are free to roleplay their characters however they like (within reason). The forum is set in a fictional location based on the Rocky Mountains, where three different groups of cats compete with one another.Domestic CatsThe housecats reside in Abington Acres, a comfortable sprawling suburb on the very outskirts of a busy city and bordering the vast wilderness. Most human residents feel confident letting their cats roam, but there is always the risk of a fatal run-in with local wildlife, along with felines of other groups who are on hostile terms with them. Housecats enjoy a luxurious and carefree life which makes them overly trusting and curious to a fault. They rarely leave the comfort of their warm homes, but some are more adventurous than others. Invasion of their territory is a common occurrence but it's rare for housecats to engage with interlopers due to their lack of combat experience.
Feral CatsThe feral cats, or strays, reside in the city of Northwich, a busy metropolis that never sleeps. Tough as nails with a no-nonsense attitude, the strays are bold and resourceful due to the rough and often short lives they endure. Many of these cats dislike humans and the confines of housecat life, but also resent the housecats for enjoying comforts they seldom experience- if ever. Strays can live on their own or form colonies, increasing their chances of survival. Due to their location deep in the city, the feral cats are rarely bothered by wild cats, but may run into other dangerous city creatures such as racoons, dogs, and foxes. They also tend to fight amongst each other over food and territory.
Wild CatsThe wild cats live just outside the suburbs, residing in forests and up in the mountains. They are solitary and tend to avoid contact with other animals but may wander into the suburbs in search of a meal. Contact with people is inevitable as they share territory with campers and hikers, but the wild cats try not to engage unless threatened. Wild cats are survivors, making them naturally stoic, patient, and determined. They can overpower most other wildlife but avoid confrontation with wolves and bears. Due to their harsh life, many wild cats have scars, missing body parts, and health problems. Their lifespans are also quite short compared to the other factions.
